Heavy/prolonged periods (menorrhagia), pelvic pressure/pain, frequent urination, constipation, back pain, infertility, pregnancy complications

Benign tumors of uterine smooth muscle; estrogen and progesterone sensitive; genetic factors, age, race (more common in Black women)

Observation if asymptomatic, hormonal contraceptives, GnRH agonists, tranexamic acid, NSAIDs, myomectomy, uterine artery embolization, hysterectomy

Assess bleeding (pad count), pain management, monitor hemoglobin, educate on treatment options, emotional support
