Often no symptoms; severe cases may cause headaches, shortness of breath, nosebleeds, flushing, dizziness, chest pain

Genetics, high salt intake, obesity, lack of exercise, stress, smoking, excessive alcohol, kidney disease, thyroid problems

Lifestyle changes (diet, exercise, weight loss), ACE inhibitors, ARBs, calcium channel blockers, diuretics, beta-blockers

📝 Nursing Care

Monitor blood pressure regularly, educate on medication adherence, teach lifestyle modifications, assess for target organ damage
