Hashimoto's thyroiditis (autoimmune), thyroidectomy, radioactive iodine treatment, pituitary dysfunction, certain medications

Levothyroxine replacement therapy, monitor TSH levels, adjust dose as needed

Educate on medication adherence (empty stomach, avoid interfering medications/supplements), monitor for symptoms of over/under replacement
